The FailSafe line boasts easy installation and does not require a dedicated monitor to alert boaters of unsafe conditions. The ProMariner FailSafe galvanic isolators are complaint with the ABYC A-28 standard that will take affect July, 2008 and fail safe certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL). Ignition protected, the FailSafe 30 and 60 flat pack high power semiconductor mechanically safeguards the isolators to withstand a 3,000 amp or 5,000 amp in rush, respectively. The FailSafe 30 is designed for single 30 amp shore power applications, and is rated at 41 amps for continuous duty. The FailSafe 60 is designed for single 50 or dual 30 amp applications, is rated at 81 amps for continuous duty and includes a universal AC input.
